Zumbini

Created by Zumba® and BabyFirst for kids ages 0-4, the Zumbini® program combines music, dance and educational tools for 45 minutes of can’t-stop, won’t-stop bonding, learning, and fun!

I started teaching Zumbini as a fun way to spend time with my son and stay active. I'm really impressed with the Zumbini program and I'm excited to share it with you and your little one!

Zumbini FAQ

What is Zumbini?

Created by Zumba® and BabyFirst for kids ages 0-4, the Zumbini® program combines music, dance and educational tools for 45 minutes of can’t-stop, won’t-stop bonding, learning, and fun!

We alternate between dancing and sitting to sing together. The dance moves and songs are kept simple so anyone can join in. Classes usually include a scarf dance and instrument play. If you're participating online and do not have these items, that's okay! You can leave them out or e mail zumbiniwithjackie@outlook.com to purchase your own.

There are 4 different sets of music corresponding with 4 different Zumbini characters. Each session will focus on ONE set of music. Each session will be different so you're always experiencing new music!

What do I need to participate?

All you need to particpate in the class is a space (free of hazards) to dance and a positive attitude!

You don't need any experience singing or dancing to participate. This class is about having fun and bonding with your little one. Just follow along the best you can and enjoy!

Caregivers ARE required to participate in this class. Older children are welcome to join as well. Your little one is watching so smile, sing, and dance!

There are add-ons that you may wish to have for the class, though they are not mandatory:

-a scarf for the scarf dance

-shakers for the free play dance

-music tracks for listening outside of class time

-a book with the lyrics

-a character doll

If you wish to purchase any of these things, please e mail zumbiniwithjackie@outlook.com

How is COVID-19 changing things?

Normally, these classes would be held in-person. Instruments and scarves would be provided for in-class use. Since I am currently unable to hold these classes in-person, I have greatly reduced the session fee. You'll still experience many of the benefits from participating in Zumbini online!

In-person classes will not resume until social distancing is no longer required to keep everyone safe. It is very difficult to keep toddlers socially distanced without taking away from the experience, so I have decided to keep things online for now.

If you would like to have scarves and instruments for your own personal use, please e mail zumbiniwithjackie@outlook.com.

How do I register?

Visit my events list and select the session you would like to attend.

Prices are given based on household, meaning I do not charge additional fees if you have multiple children.

Fill out the short registration form. It's important that you include your name and the names of all of your children. If the name on your Zoom account does not match the name you've provided, you will not be allowed into the session. This is to make sure our sessions are kept private for the people who have registered. Also, during our welcome song, I will sing the names of all of the children who are participating. Providing their name will make sure no one is left out!

After you submit your registration info, you will receive a confirmation e mail reminding you to provide payment. Please send an e transfer payment to zumbiniwithjackie@outlook.com for the full session fee (and any additional material you wish to buy) to secure your spot. If you live outside of Canada, let me know and I will send you a Paypal payment request. There is an additional fee for sending payment over Paypal.

Upon receiving payment, I will send you an e mail with a link and any other information you might need for the class.
